We recommend ordering directly from our website to earn loyalty rewards and avoid third-party fees.

Yes! We're proud to roast all our coffee ourselves, at our roastery in Urbana. Our beans come from Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Mexico, Brazil and Sumatra. We offer single-origin coffees and signature blends, including our Java Nation Blend (house coffee), Elixir Blend (house espresso), Colombia Tabi and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe. You can purchase our coffee bags online or at any location.

Absolutely! Java Nation provides full catering services for corporate events, private parties, and special occasions. We offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner packages. Our event staff will work with you to create a customized menu. We also have private and semi-private spaces available for group events at select locations. Silver Spring takes OpenTable reservations any time. North Bethesda takes OpenTable reservations Thursday to Saturday after 6:30pm. Otherwise, and at Kensington and Kentlands, seating is first come, first served. For large groups or private events, please contact us directly.

Yes, all four cafés have free Wi-Fi for guests. Outdoor seating: Kensington has indoor and outdoor seating; North Bethesda has a large patio; Kentlands has an outdoor area for up to 40 people in the warmer months; Silver Spring has outdoor seating.

Kids are always welcome: every café has a kids menu and high chairs. Dogs are welcome on our patios, but not inside. Please keep them leashed and off the chairs and tables.
